I guess it’s hard to accept (it has been for me) that a unit that looks all over in really good condition (as new) is beyond economic repair, I wouldn’t mind I spent £30 getting new freezer draw front panels earlier this year as they were cracked and then split. Add in the KLIXON relay and that’s £45, the third of the price of a new low cost Fridge or Freezer. Thanks for confirming it’s the compressor and beyond reasonable economic repair.
