I have come accross this fault a few times now and its terminal. The stainless tank developes a leak, water runs onto the main wash pump causing an earth fault. This causes the electronic conrol module not to display any kind of life.
Diplomat, Kenwood, Stoves and Beko are selling these branded dishwashers so if buying one try and find the data plate for country of manufacture. If made in China avoid like the plauge.
