    Thanks for reply, it has solved the issue of noise replacing the bearing assembly but when I got to put the side panel back on (motor side) something is catching when I spin the drum. Any suggestions from when you have put them back together?

    Appliance is approx 3 and half years old, is it fixable if that is problem?

    Thanks for the help on this!! I successfully removed the motor and brushes are worn, more on 1 side than the other. Going to clean the copper contacts and replace the brushes

    Thanks for the help, I’ve unscrewed the bolts, is there a trick to getting the motor off the plastic legs or is it just brute force?

    Thanks for the quick reply, the drum will turn by hand, I have taken off the back panel and the belt is in good condition – struggling to find a guide to remove the motor so I can check the brushes. Is 6 and half years about right for the brushes to be worn? Is there a way to check without removing motor?
