    Hi mate..
    IRF840 is a N Mosfet 500V 8A 125W.
My little book of tricks tells me a MTP 8N50, 2SK555, 2SK894, 2SK1496.
Any of the above MAY work.. But you will HAVE to look up their datasheets and verify this against the IRF840’s data.

    Cheers.. 😯

OH>>> Don’t forget to check the diodes that are between the S-G pins… These protect the transistors and probably will have taken a bashing too!..

Thanks for that. My question was asking for the transistors which drive the IRF840’s

    Thanks

HAHA.. Sorry! I’ve been operating on very little sleep for the last few months..

IR2111S Half Bridge Driver, Fixed 650ns Deadtime in a 8-lead SOIC package

That’s the one – But in my opinion it’s very unlikely to be the problem.. more likely one of the IRF840.. It is recommended to replace all in one go but that can be expensive.. 6xAU$5 (approx AU$30) for all of them..

You would be better off replacing the board with another one if anything more than the IRF840’s have gone…

As always – POWER OFF AND PULL OUT PLUG FIRST BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY WORK!
