    Cheers Phil, I’ll take a look later of over the weekend. Hopefully it’s just the wires as I don’t have a test meter handy to check the element. I’ll visually check the element anyway as we’ve fairly hard water here so I’m actually surprised it hasn’t given hassle before this.

    Sorry to drag this up but I’m having the exact same problem with this washer/dryer. Dryer was fine for years but now it’s just a washer, the dryer function doesn’t dry anymore, just spins and spins. Connections are all fine, it hasn’t been moved but I checked them anyway.

    From reading the previous posts one possibility is that there’s an issue with wires breaking around the heater box and fan motor, it sounds like a possibility as it tripped the fuse about a week or so before it stopped working. How easy is that to spot, are the wires outside the box or will I have to check inside the box itself ? And if I do find broken wires can I just stick ’em back together again ?
    It’s over 6 years old at this stage, should I just send it to the great resting place in the sky ?
