Hi,

Many thanks to iadom for helping to work out how to test my pressure switch and confirm it was fine and Gery85 for your suggestion.

I thought I would post back for anyone else with similar symptoms.

The eventual clue was that the drum never turned. So as the motor controller is part of the main control board I decided to pull that apart. There’s a big heatsink on this board so that’s probably where any fault would be (no visible charred components) and yes testing showed one of the power transistors had gone short circuit (STGP10NC60KD) replaced this (49p) and the machine has been working well ever since.
