The wasing machine (Hotpoint WF 860 1600 spin) started peeing out water last night and on removing the small cover at the bottom rear of the mackine I notice the heating element was loose in fact it was out completely 😥
I’ve tried as I might to get the flamin thing back in but it won’t go, even put a little washin up liquid on the rubber seal but no it’s not playin the game.
Attached to the elememt is a little flat plate that rattles around I take it that shoud be attached to something inside the drum.
One of the 3 blue deflactor fins inside the washer had become detached too, a couple of the plastic holding clips have snapped so sometimes it comes off during washing, so I presume that, that is whats caused this problem to start with 😳
Are these fins availabe and if so how much, but more to the point do I need a new element or is it the way I’m tryin to get the damn thing back in ?
Thanks Quinny
