Well! I have the same problem – thanks for posting a reply to your own question! Very helpful. Another mystery to me is that in the four years I’ve had it the filters have been pretty clean – that can’t be right. (The water in mine appears to be able to by-pass the filters by going over the top of them and going down the uncapped centre and out of the drain.) Naturally I assumed that the thing was just bunged up with grot. Will now study both aspects. THANKS!!
