ParticipantOk well I’ve now plugged it in with an RCD in line and on a 20 minute wash all is ok no tripping of the RCD.
So decided to put it on dryer and it trips after about 5 mins…
I’ve checked that element and seam to be getting a low reading of an leak to earth.
How easy is it to change that element please, and is there a guide to it at all.
Could i just unplug the element and isolate it and still just use the washing machine.
Many thanks

ParticipantHi dave sorry i did not realise,
it’s the one at the back of the machine at the bottom just to the left of the motor if you looking at it from the back of the machine,Also you say the motor causes tripping can i eliminate that as it done the spin cycle ok at my house on an extension lead, or am i just hoping…..
Many thanks
