Haven’t got an insulation tester! I’ve put an ordinary circuit tester across the Neutral and Earth – no connection. But is that reliable proof that the element isn’t leaky?

Any other way I can test it?

How do service engineers check that the water temp in the machine is what it’s supposed to be?

Any/all advice much appreciated
