the brushes were an exact fit as the plastic housing the brushes fit into had locating lugs and these didnt fit and had to use the original housings for the locating lugs on the motor. The angle of the brushes were the same as the originals.
Having had chance to take a quick look, it doesnt appear to be sparking “only” when the spin cycle increase from speed as it isnt a gradual increase in speed more an “instant increase in speed” and causes a couple of lights to flicker for a second and its okay again.
Is it possible the brushes just needed time to “bed in”?
