Re: JLWD1609 (Electrolux underneath?) no heat in dryer

I found the reset button on T1. It does not seem to have been tripped (T1 is closed circuit) and could not be pressed back in.

I tried to measure the voltage across the heater again. What should I expect to see? I only saw something low intermittently. Mostly there is no voltage. Is there any kind of test mode that can verify operation of the heater circuit (I seem to remember an engineer pressing some magic button combination before for an unrelated problem)? Or at least a way to be sure the heater is supposed to be active? Measuring from ground to the heater terminals shows 240V AC on all four. Is that expected?

Out of curiosity I disconnected one terminal on T1 and the machine didn’t flag this as an error – which is disappointing.

Today T3 has a resistance of ~ 6k – which looks to be plausible- I guess I messed that up before (although I did pull it to have a look at it).

    Thanks
    Rob
