Finally got to the bottom of the problem, it was a broken wire which had worn against the lower balance weight. Well done Jiim you were spot on! Had to get somebody in though as I couldn’t find the break myself, anyway it was worth the £30. Thanks again for all your help. Martyn 😆

When a wash programme is selected the sequence is as follows. Machine fills up, wash progress panel indicates length of wash (1h32). machine stops filling and then clicks, progress panel then displays 1h43. Machine clicks again and display goes to 1h42, another 2 clicks, 1h41 is displayed. The machine now pumps out all the water, then the display goes to ON with the door lock flashing. A few seconds later the flashing door lock goes out with ON still displayed. Thanks again.
