    Yeah, the machine runs for four hours (and longer if left) and when you open the door it beeps as if you have interrupted the cycle. If you close the door it goes back to working away. The machine continues to make a sort of pumping noise (although it is not the same noise that it makes when it drains or fills with water.

    The machine definately heats the water up, washes the dishes and then drains afterwards, then produces steam (which I assume is the drying cycle), and it is at this point that it gets stuck. However, after an hour the machine and dishes are cool again.

    Just a thought, but the fact that I have not yet put salt in the machine presumably doesn’t make a difference?

    I have just phone Extracare and they have arranged an engineer for 10 day’s time. I feel that a brand new machine, just out of the box should work and not need repairing immediately.
