Re: Dishwasher smell
I’ve not used rinse aid since I started using tablets (a number of years ago) as oposed to loose powder. It may be worth trying though as the plates (particularly plastic ones that my young son uses) are sometimes not dry when removed in the morning.
There has been no smell from hot water from the tap or when boiling a kettle.
The dishes are still smell free 4 days later so the milton is still doing the trick.

Forgot to mention in my post that I’ve already tried dishwasher cleaners with little success.
Put some Milton fluid in it the other night and 3 days later there is still no smell !!! If the smell comes back (even with the milton) I will try a different brand of dishwasher tablet.
