Sound like you have a similar problem to me… SRS2028CVW, abt 8 years old – not showing any fault codes. Starts OK from cold but doesn’t restart cooling cycle automatically. Only diff seems to be mine reaches temp but then warms up.

Lots of previous posts about thermo fuses and defrost heaters seemed to have cured similar problems elsewhere…

Where did you get the manual – I could do with a copy, if possible…
