Got it all apart tonight, lots of lint and what looks like baked on limescale throughout, especially around the dryer elements and fan. Gave it a good clean out, including the plastic duct that goes back down to the main drum (which was full of lint). I’m giving it a test run now to see if there’s any improvement.
Really makes me wonder how they can design these with no user accessible filter.

Thanks, I’ve had the top off and back off and I can see a bunch of lint in the plastic part of the dryer assembly the runs down the back. Poking up into the metal dryer duct above the door also revealed a coating of lint/dust that didn’t smell great.
Didn’t have the right torx driver to get the metal dryer assembly apart though, so I’ll have to look later in the week once I get hold of one.
