Tried it on variouse settings and get the same thing, the “wash in progress” light is on when it starts but after a while it goes out but the washer still carries on, constantly filling.

What actually tels the water to stop, is it a timer or sensor.??

Hi thanks for the replies, the dishwasher is around 5 years old, so you could be right.

Any idea on how mush a regeneration filter would be, or a part number, I don’t suppose the resin filters can be changed, would it have to be a complete unit?
