    Re: Question about defrosting freezer

    hair dryer heard that can damage the electrical components !

    Anyhow am trying the damp cloth trick here;

    http://www.wikihow.com/Defrost-a-Freezer

    its one of the most popular wikihelp/google searched options to defrost the freezer…

    using the boil of hot water is working, guess over time it will eventually work.

    Thanks for all tips, id bet hot water/hair dryer and all these other things are fine just have to be careful and not over do it, will soon find out when we switch on the fridge again !

    Is it 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure any other way would cause harm?

    Issue is for past 10 years we have really been unable to defrost it that much, since we can’t be placing the frozen goods too long in a cooler.

    hot watered cloth being tabbed onto the ice directly would kill the ice 10x faster or hot water! in an ideal world I would switch if off for a day or 2 but not possible with food inside.
