    OK, pulled out new IJ and it is exactly the same as the old one and the arrow is pointing in the same direction.
    However, when removing the IJ the connector to the tiny PCB may not have been fully pushed home onto the edge connector on the PCB. I have now fully clicked it on and set the machine off on a quick cycle with no dishes etc in it.
    So far it seems to be working normally. The water filled up until it was just lapping the salt container lid and then went into its’ cycle. Still running now with no leaks so far; will let you know whether this is a success later today.

    Yes, fitted and now more probs.
    I wonder if the new impellor jug is faulty?

    The faults keep coming….
    Now it fills and then drains for a few seconds and then fills….and so on.
    Level in the machine is about the salt container lid so I think that’s right.
    Problem is I have no repair manual so I am groping in the dark.
    Can anybody help. please?

    Sorry, bit lazy there, just looked up the Impellor Jug and I know where that is on the machine. I guess that counts the water flow and lets the PCB know.
    Do they seize up or just go inactive?

    Thank you very much for your quick reply.
    Where and what is the Impellor Jug?
    Does it provide a signal to the PCB to calculate the volume of water?

    No known reason for a leak.
    How do you know if the compressor is kaputt?

    Update: Seal between wash motor and impeller has failed ruining motor and actually detaching impeller from motor shaft.
    Machine is a write….not worth repairing.
    Thanks for the pointers from one (!) person. Hope this helps somebody else.
    Anybody need any bits from this machine?

    Thanks for that; I am going to have a look now. I guess the wash motor is the large motor underneath and the evacuation motor is the smaller one?
