    Don,
No problem. The reason I posted was in case someone in the future was looking to do the same thing.
I guess I will now be spending even more money assuming the price isn’t that stupid 🙂

    Cheers

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2450 stacking kit

    Don,
On your advice I e-mailed Bosch Customer Care the question about stacking the dryers on top of the WFL2450 washer & have just received the following reply which is a bit strange. 😮

Thank you for your recent enquiry.

The stacking kit for the WTA4107 is WTZ1250 and the for WTA3003 is WTZ1160. You can order these from Spare Parts Dept on 08705 543210 and they will advice on prices as well. The warranty on all our appliances is one year and if you register the product within 30 days then it will be two years from date of purchase.

    I trust all is satisfactory.

    Regards Tarun
    Customer Care

So I am really confused now

    Cheers

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2450 stacking kit

    Thanks to all that replied.
Sparkey, Don had said previously in a private e-mail that some of the cheaper machines were made by Crosslee but wasn’t sure about the WTA3003.
Penguin, The models you have suggested are all condensor ones I believe & I was advised that in general these are not as reliable as the vented models.
In the end I have gone for the WTA4107G which although it is a lower capacity than I ideally wanted, seems to have a few nicer features such as sensor drying etc. rather than just a manual timer.
Hopefully I have made the right choice & it will give me great service, but whether it is made in Germany or not I will have to wait & see 🙂

    Many thanks

Re: Bosch Maxx WFL2450 stacking kit

    Thanks Don,
I guess you can never win them all 🙂 I just need Ken or somebody else to give their opinions on the reliability/serviceability of the two machines.

    Cheers

    Clive
