    Thanks for the update. There’s definitely no leak, I’ve had the machine on its back to refit the drain hose and have removed and refitted the drip tray and float switch.

    Thanks very much. Mine has a 7 segment display rather than individual LEDs but if code 1 applies, there’s definitely no leak. Do you know how to reset the dishwasher to clear the error code?

    Thanks very much for the reply. I bought a new heater/circulation pump assembly about 6 months ago as it was stopping after 15 minutes when the heater should kick in, but on removing the old one I found it was good (checked resistance with a multimeter) but the impeller was a bit stuck. Freeing that up seemed to cure it so I now have a spare. This error seems different as it’s not stopping after 15 minutes but never draws water in or heats up (I’ve checked the water supply is good). Having forked out £85 for a heater/pump and £25 for a hose I’m reluctant to spend over £100 on a circuit board. It may be time for a new dishwasher, much as I hate to throw away repairable equipment, as it may be beyond economic repair….
