OK done all of that and the results are
Heater 430 ohms
defrost sensor 7.45K ohms
thermal fuse 6 ohmsthe other (middle) plug with red and black wires which go to the cylinder thing on top of the evaporator have a resistance of 213 ohms.
Do any of these look wildly out of spec?

I am capable of testing with a multimeter, I just need someone to tell me where the thermal fuse and defrost sensors actually are! I have taken the panels off in the freezer side and have exposed the cooling matrix and heater and I can see the fan unit at the top but no sign of any thermal fuses or sensors apart from the ones behind the red blister things. Should I take the fridge side apart to find these?

When you say the “right of the fridge” do you mean in the refrigerator section behind the panel? I haven’t been in there yet. (and remember it’s an RS20)
