Hi again,
Firstly many thanks for your concise reply!
I’ve had the multimeter testing what I can. The door latch micro switch is working ok. But there seems to be no voltage going to the latch plug or the plugs that go into the board; that can’t be right can it? It’s as if it’s not plugged in at the mains.
I don’t hold out much hope for any Hotpoint warranty as the machine was in my new house when I moved in nearly 3 years ago, would any warranty pass to the new owner?
What else could I try with the meter maybe? Surely there should be some voltage in the loom?
