Re: Bosch Dishwasher – water heater faulty ?

Definitely not blocked spray arms – I have meticulously cleaned everything, inside and out. When the rotor is spraying there is loads of water coming through, it just doesnt switch between rotors as it should.

Coming to conclusion its either the water heater or the control module, both expensive parts so might just cut my losses and buy another one unless I can get someone to look at it. Various tales on the forum about faulty water heaters taking out the control module (although I couldn’t see anything burnt out on it) but if I need both parts probably wouldnt be economical to fix.

Ideally I would find someone to diagnose the fault and give a no obligation quote. If anyone knows anyone in the AL9 area who could help please let me know.

I think it would be worth spending £150 to fix but any more I think I wouldn’t bother.

Shame really, I originally bought Bosch because I thought it would be better quality appliance, and the build quality seems much better than the cheap makes, however less than 6 years old and it looks likely to become landfill. Plus I’ve spent hours cleaning every internal pipe where it’s now immaculate inside !
