Thank you for the reply, that new ISE sounds fantastic I wish I could wait till its available, but I need a machine now.

I have decided to go for the Miele W4144WPS, I rang Miele this morning to confirm it had a stainless steel outer tub, the lady in sales said she thought it had, I explained I wanted a definitive answer so she put me through to technical.They assured me that it was stainless steel, however I have to say he did lose my confidence when he said all Miele machines have an outer tub in stainless steel.

Having never seen inside these machines as some of the posters on the forum have, I still don’t know for certain if the outer tub will be stainless steel on the machine I have selected, which is what Miele call a mid price unit.

Oh well, I will have to wait & see, it should still be a good machine hopefully.

thanks for the replies, right! now I am even more interested! When will the ISE 10 be available, and at what price?

I must say I am very interested in the concept of the ISE, although previously Miele do seem to have a good reputation. The W4144WPS is that definately not a steel outer drum? this I would say is one of the cheaper models but not the cheapest.

Also I am looking for a condenser tumble dryer, any recommendations?
