Ok, thanks. Think I’ll get a new machine instead. Had a good run… 7 years without only one-call-out!

    Thanks for all the help.

Alas, not even a teeny bit warm.

Where is the heater located please?

Well, I changed the whole thermal cut out cable because I could not “uncrimp” the ends of the fuse!

BUT, it still doesn’t heat up.

Any ideas on what else might be wrong?

Desperately need the drier as have little munchkins in the house, so clothes are being washed all day long.

    Please help!

    Hello,

Need some help please. The dryer is not heating up. The machine goes through a wash cycle completely (but I do not know how to tell if the water is heating up or not) and then goes onto the dryer cycle. It makes all the same noises (pumping of water, fan is running I think) and the clothes aren’t any wetter than expected. The machine door remains cool to touch whereas before it used to get warm. This is a sudden change, not gradual. No flashing LED error or selector switch going round and round. If left to itself, it will complete the drying cycle as scheduled.

Have discovered a lot of information on the internet, and have taken the top off (machine unplugged) but without a picture pointing out what each part is, I am at a loss! This topic had a picture at some point, but it is not coming up.

There is something thin covered in a yellow sheath… is this the temperature sensor? Big concrete looking thing to top left labelled Vibro – no idea. Under sheath, big metal thing, shaped like a P – any ideas?

I would be grateful if anyone could tell how to fix the machine, and also send me a picture of what each part is I am looking at!

    Thank you.
