how much is defrost sensor ??, could I prove the fault by disconnecting it and see if the fan runs, or would this just shut the system down ?

is that the really crappo cheap (samsung qualiy) looking polystyrene bit, or the whole
cover ? or is there more to it…have you noticed one end seems heavier than the other ?

As a matter of interest, why doesnt the fan run straight away after I defrost it manually ?

I’m not doubting your advice, I just like to know how things work.

How much for the part, and how long to get one, I’m fed up of putting bottles of frozen water in it just to keep the beer cold.
