    Re: Whirlpool Dishwasher ADP 5966

    Hi

The machine continued to the end but the fan did not work.

I assume the logic board has failed?

    thanks

    John,

The machine has just stopped with the flashing start button, 6 flashes and a space, all other lights are ok.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Brian

    John,

thanks for the information. Followed another lead and took out the control board and disconnected all the plugs and plugged them back in. It then took 30 minutes to rinse but has started to wash, taken the washing tablet and is heating up.

This really does seem to be a badly made product [Hungary]

    Thanks for your help.

The water inlet seems fine and the top arm has been checked.

It’s just washing the long program now.

    Kind Regards

    Brian

ps The 30 minute pre-rinse does seem to be long. It used to be just a few minutes?

    Hi

    Thanks for quick reply.

It now takes ages [15 minutes] to rinse when put on wash. Then after pumping immediately gives code F7 and the start button flashes. This is when the machine is empty of water.

Will check the top arm, am also checking the electrical connections onto the circuit board.

    Regards

    Brian
