Call me blind, but I don’t see a clip. I’ve tried pressing the thing in the picture by the red arrow, but it does not go up. The same ‘thing’ is on the other side also.
– Is this what you’re calling ‘a clip’?
– I’ve used a screwdriver. Should I be using something else to try to press it up? It doesn’t even move.

I’m attaching a picture of my ice maker assembly. I called Liebherr, and the gentleman said to take a screwdriver and push up on the middle left and right sides. I’ve tried that and can see a ‘lever’ but nothing happens. He says this will release it, and it will move forward. I’m wondering if I’m pushing up on the left and right sides in the front of the lever and should be pushing up behind the lever? Not sure but nothing is moving.

Any help is sincerely appreciated!

Hi! I’m having the same problem. I have replacement part 9590475-02A but don’t see any ‘clips’ when I remove the ice bin and the shelf below it. I see the tray inside the housing unit but don’t know how to remove the existing maker to replace it. Does anyone have a picture with the ‘clips’ I am supposed to ‘press’? Any help you can give would be very much appreciated.
