    My apologies for not replying sooner; been out of town. After having made the measurements described above, and spraying the switch in a very limited way, I asked my wife to check the temperature of the next wash. Would you believe it ? A hot wash ! I don’t know what fixed it, but I’m inclined to think it was the unplugging/plugging of the temperature sensor connector, rather than the spraying of the switch. Who knows ? If it happens again, I’ll try the connector again, and see what happens.

    Temperature of the temperature sensor would have been room temperature between washes, without water.
    How do I get in to check the wiring, relays, etc., behind the control panel ?
