Thank you for the replies. Not a problem as the machine is already out with the bottom cover off.

    Re: Indesit WA121 flashing led’s.

Hello Martin, I ordered a new part after the machine became progressively worse. Swapped the door lock mechanism, put it all back together and now the door won’t latch shut, tried adjusting it to no avail, put the original one back and that won’t latch either, but the machine can be started and run and the door will open. Help please.

Oh good, I have to source me one now. Might stop the wife moaning.

    Thanks again Martin.

    Re: Indesit WA121 flashing led’s.

Ok, thank you for your reply Martin. I thought the reply would be pcb fault & the machine would be a write off.

Managed to get the door open, sprayed loads of WD40 in the gap of the lock. Ran 1 cycle ok, then the next one same problem. Switched it off and on and ran a cycle and managed to get it finished after 11pm last night. Is the ‘door interlock’ the unit held on with 2 screws on the front on the right hand side? If so is it a simple task of purchasing another one and swapping it over to cure the fault?

By the way the red padlock led has been flashing for a couple of years now, but doesn’t seem to affect operation.

    Regards

    Paul.
