Hello Guys ,
It’s a shame I didn’t read all this stuff before I spent most of Sunday morning dismantling my Zanussi 6855 !! Anyway, I had exactly the same problem with a dry joint on the relay terminal. Well done Electrolux!! Engineered to last – just outside the warranty period. I understand there was a press announcement – only any good if you have time to read the paper. The following link suggests the fault may trigger a ‘thermal event’ (a less alarming way of saying ‘FIRE!’) Keep up the good work………
