    Thanks Bryan

We’ve rung D&G (insurance co) who are coming out on Thursday. I’ll let you know what happens and many thanks for posting your replies.

Well we might as well get our money out of it!! What I want to do is to be able to tell him (after he’s given me his verdict) of what I believe is wrong with it after having read similar problems on this site.

Do I assume I need a new evaporator cover, heat sensor, thermo fuse etc etc or the lot! I would also need to tell him that we need the update version of the cover and I’ve read there is one that is more effective.

By the way, overnight the temp on the fridge went down to 14C. Have pulled out the veg draws this morning and the white pipe thing at the back is iced up! Our water has now started working again, presumably as it’s now all melting.

Cheers – Soozie (just of to the shops for yet more milk!!)

I am having the same usual problem with my Samsung American f/f. No water for a day, fridge starts warming up, milk goes off etc etc. Have reset the fridge and temp now shows 16C and going down. Originally it was flashing at 3C before resetting but we knew it was warmer than that.
We do have extended warranty but having read many previous threads it seems the above is the problem.
Question I have is: how do I get to everything. Do I have to pull the fridge out or can I get to it from the inside of the fridge. Freeze seems fine at the moment. The model I have is a RS21 DGRS and it’s 2.5 years old. First time it’s gone wrong and I think perhaps we’ve just been lucky until now.
Any advice would be very very welcome.

    Thanks Soozie
