Thanks Dave, NTC appears to be testing within range at 17.8kohms at around 8 degrees Centigrade (its cold in my workshop today!). Any other ideas? I should also mention that I have tried a replacement PCB, which made no difference and I have also replaced the control panel PCBs as the on/off microswitch appeared to be duff.
