    thanks for that, so why wouldnt there be any power going to the water heater, i am baffled?

    this part is new, what should the reading be & would this tell the control panel not so send power to the water heater, regards steven

    there is 8 ohms on the thermostat
    and the heating element goes to zero ohms

    No error codes nothing, the machine works fine, it just does not get hot on any program, there is no power going to the heating element

    When we took it out a while ago it had a black sooty residue around it. At first we thought it had burnt out but it just wiped off

    I tested all the wires from the module to the water level sensor, to the heater, the thermostat and back to the module with a circuit tester and there are no breaks Im baffled.

    We have spent hours trying different programs, the drum stays stone cold, its driving us nuts as we have spent a few quid on new parts up to now.

    All appears fine, it does have a little digital display which shows remaining minutes but no flashing or error codes.

    I have tried various heat settings 30, 60 & 90 degree settings, checked all the cables but the machine doe not get hot.

    hi there, yes i have tried different settings, but on the new electronic module there is one wire which plugs on top of the module which can fit to the left or the right all the other connections plug on one way. I tried the socket to the left and the right but the machine does not give hot water.
