    Re: BOSCH Dishwasher SMV50E00GB

There is nothing wrong with my drainage, it is all existing and it is clear, the problem is with the machine. I have the drain hose off at the moment is pointing in to an empty kitchen sink.

Do you mean the computer at the top of the door or the digital display, I have already bought a new module at the top of the door as the old one had a bit which was burnt out so I presumed it would fix it but its still the same.
Originally the light inside was stuck on, when I installed the new module at the top of the fridge, I shut the door and the light went off, then the fridge fan came on for about 10 seconds the nothing after that, the fridge does not get cool, but the freezer is fine any Ideas?

    regards

Hi there I was told it was a workaround to solve the problem of my fridge not cooling. I was told by someone on the forum that my thermistor was broken and is not a spare part but the c00262537 would cure it. The guy who supplied the forum never told me how or where to install it, would you know, regards steven.

johnnyj wrote:If the Freezer is okay and the fridge is to warm it sounds like a thermistor problem which is not replaceable, there is however a timed control module part n/o C00262537 to overcome this problem, i have fitted a few of them and it works okay on most the time only one i had a problem with was a F/freezer in a big house it was situated in a annexe with no heating as the ambiant temp was low, and the module relied on time the fridge then started running to cold. Cheers JJ

Hi there, where do you fit this part?

there is quiet a bit of frost in the freezer, I will defrost it tonight and see it it comes back to life in the morning, it has always built of lot of frost up from new, do you know if this fridge has some sort of diverter on it, like when the compressor is not being used for the fridge its being used for the freezer?
nice looking fridge pain in the arse though, again thanks for your help in advance

Re: Bosch WFO2866GB/01 No Hot Water!

going to have a go tomorrow, i have checked parts on a working bosch machine to compare to the one i am trying to fix, all the readings are exactly the same, original problem started with the water not heating up, i wonder if something else is causing the problem?

Hi there, I have an old bosch washing machine in the garage to compare with, the ntc on the old one gives the same reading as the new one and the old water heater gives the same reading as the new one also. As i said earlier all parts are brand new from bosch. i think it may be something else. I have checked all the wires to the parts and back to the control panel and they are all fine

with the machine switched off the ntc reads 4 ohms and the water heating element goes to zero.

Re: Bosch WFO2866GB/01 No Hot Water!

Hi there, the heating element reads 0 ohms when i put my multimeter on the connections when the machine is switched off,
the element is new from bosch

the ntc reads 8 ohms in situ when the machine is switched off in situ, the ntc is also new from bosch,

the machine does work fine otherwise, just no damn heat.

I thought that when you put a multimeter across the terminals on both parts, if it whent to 0 ohms that it meant there was resistance meaning that there was no break in the circuit in both parts, thanks so far for your advice it has been so much help.
