    Anyone else that is having problems with these machines i found a person from Ariston that replys to emails and endevours to help you sort out your problems with the machines they built and sold to us… the email address is service@arisit.com… Here is the response I got from them >>HI STEVE,
    THE FAULT CODE YOU HAVE INDICATED IS FAULT CODE 8 WHICH IS WASH HEATER RELAY STUCK OR PRESSURE SWITCH ON FULL. IF YOU SEND ME YOUR FAX NO. I WILL SEND YOU THE FAULT CODE SHEET.

    Thanks for all this Dave, I tried pressing the start/stop button and the start/reset button and both together for 20 secs but unfortunately those lights are still flashing. 🙁 You know I was hoping it was something simple like that or even if I needed to replace a board it would be OK. The manufacturers of these machines are missing in action, I have sent a couple of emails to them with no response just asking them for a basic trouble shooting guide for these Washing machines but they weren’t even decent enough to reply to my emails. Thanks very much Dave I will be recommending this site to everyone I know, you are a great help which is a lot more than I can say about Merloni.

    No Dave, the leds are just flashing constantly, theres no change at all in the flashing ( approx 1 flash per sec ). Thanks
