    Thankyou for your advice I will have a go tomorrow.Nothing to lose have I.It is only 14mths old as well .I will let you know how I get on Cheers…

    Have you any idea where this other stat may be as there is nothing inside the element housing only the 2 stats on top of it.

    I forgot to add there is supposed to be another thermostat somewhere but I can’t find it anywhere………
