Thank you very much for your reply. I have decided to purchase a new oven. I think the new problem will be finding one that has a matching aperture dimension (especially width) as the carcassing seems to have been built tightly round the old oven. Additionally, many of the on line spec sheets on vendor’s adverts do not state accurate apperture requirements but rather appliance face measurements.
So, off to some shops with a tape measure then.
