Thanks for quick reply. I’ll check the fuse (always best to do the simple stuff first!) but I’d be surprised if the unit could blow the fuse just by repeatedly sparking, and there was no cleaning going on!
As regards forum rules, I’m a newbie here but I can appreciate the issue about needing corgi registration for any dealings with gas connections – but I’d hoped that dealing with a purely electrical component that did nto disturb any gas connections would not have been problematic?

But if I need to go via a corgi to get the bit and have it fitted I’d be happy to do that, if only I could find somewhere that still stocks the bit!
