    Re: Whirlpool ADP4601 Fault Help

I have found out that the replacement board is from an Ignis ADL335/2 and despite having exactly same part number software no etc the ADL335/2 has a float switch where as the Whirlpool one doesn’t, hence there F2 fault code.

I have been advised that the PCB needs to be reprogrammed but this can only be done by Whirpool so looks like I’m stuck!

Oh well was worth a go…

    Thank you for the update.
I’m wondering that it the replacement PCB has come from a machine with a float switch it’s throwing the fault as it’s not getting the ‘signal’ back ?

Can anyone tell me which connector on the PCB would a float switch be connected to ?
And secondly I am right it thinking that when a float switch is activated it breaks the circuit ?
If so I wonder if I could wire a loop off of circuit board to ‘fool’ the PCB that the switch is there when it’s not ?

    Hope that makes sense ..
