    ISE10 tripping the electrics

My ISE10 washer is tripping the electrics as soon as it is switched on. An engineer came and said it was the heating element but he couldn’t get one. I’ve changed that but after one wash it has tripped the electrics again at the end of the cycle and now does as soon as it is switched on. Do I change the thermistor? Or could it be something else altogether, requiring a new machine?

Re: ISE10 heating element wont budge

Thanks Bryan, it was the engineer who came that said it was the heating element that had gone so I was just taking it from there since he said he couldn’t get the part.

OK so I have changed the element but the machine has tripped the electrics again near the end of the cycle. Do I just admit defeat? What else could it be?

    ISE10 heating element wont budge

I was pleased to be able to get a new heating element for my ISE10 but now the old one wont come out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. It’s disconnected, just seems stuck.

Thanks, it is still alive so I’ve ordered the part.

It’s the heating element that’s gone. The only thing is that I don’t know if that blowing has also done for the computer bit of the machine? The engineer who came condemned it saying he couldn’t get the parts. If I can get a compatible heating element, it might just be worth giving it a go. Everything else about it looks sound.
