ParticipantHello Dave,
thanks for the prompt response
it occurs to me that having got this far, I might as well replace the bearings anyway. The link for the bearing kit you included above does not list my model number, should I find a different one?thunder pants
ParticipantHello Dave,
Finally got on the case today, bit of a wrestle but the spider is out. Removing the bearing seal is proving nigh on impossible – is there a way to get it out without knocking the bearings out?
cheers in advance

ParticipantHello Dave,
This job was put on the back burner for a while. I’m back on the case and struggling to find the appropriate part. Been in touch with someone from UKWhitegoods who said as far as they were aware it wasn’t possible to get the seal separately, it might come with a new spider (SKU 00283726 for £200!) or a new bearing kit might do the trick. I’ve changed the bearings before – not a job to undertake without knowing it’s absolutely necessary! Any suggestions gratefully received.

ParticipantThanks Dave, is that a straight forward thing to repair (once the drum has been removed from the cabinet)?
