I have a similar problem. I changed the air temp sensor with no result. The black sheathed lead going to what I think is the evaporator sensor appears to be where the fault is as when I replace this with a 2.2k resistor it works or at least the square goes away and it starts reading a temp again and the motor kicks in. The fridge was overcooling for a while with the square but is no undercooling The ‘faulty’ sensor reads 680ohms. Not quite sure exactly where the evaporator sensor goes however. Does anybody have a diagram?
