Re: Schreiber APM 6855 fridge freezer
I have had problems with this same friedge freezer for about a year now (it’s about 3 years old) – I keep defrosting it and then the fridge part works again for a couple of months, and then the problem repeats itself.
I’ve organised for the engineer to come from Howdens/MFI for about £80 callout and I’m now wondering if I shoudl just order a new fridge altogether. Having read the reviews about this fridge model it sounds like the problem is recurring and it’s generally a faulty model.
Can anyone advise what to do about this. Either an alternative model of the same size which has a better track record (and soemone who could provide and install this in the SW London area) or to repair it. I woudl happily pay the callout charge if I thought it would work long term but I’m cynical based on what I’ve read about this model.
