    Hi, Thanks for that,

Do you have a part number for this heater so I can find out if anyone stocks them,

I have, you say it will be the defrost heater, I take it the defrost heater is built into the Evap, this sounds a costly fix ?

Will I need an engineer to replace this part, I take it, it needs the refrigerant removed, evap replaced and recharged ?

How much do you think it will cost to have the Heater/Evap replaced ?

    Thanks,

My explaination was not very well put, it stopped cooiling, it did not trip the power and just stopped on defrost,

Whats the wires going into the evap ?

How many heaters are in the Fridge / Freezer ? as the one in the Freezer was working.

    Hi,

It tripped again last night, stopped on defrost, I removed the panel at back of freezer to investigate further,

There was a heater top left corner in the plactic cover – looks to be working ok,

down the right hand side of the Evap is a couple of wires and a sensor hidden in the evap, I presume this is the defrost sensor ? could this be at fault ?

    Hi,

I have the same problem, it started last night or stopped should I say !!, I have stripped the front electrical display and pcbs down and will check the pins out to the defrost heater when it stops working again,

    Good advice from R600a,

will let you know later if this is the problem.
