Re: Whirlpool American Fridge Freezer broken down – help!
hello anybody…have one of those whirlpool fridge freezers with kind of same problems, flashing control panel, flashing warning light, alarm sound, temperature showing different numbers, then blank, water gizmo spluttering when used, ice crusher really slow and odd noise, although no actual loss of either temp in freezer of fridge as yet, to sort problem out wife just turns it on and off and a presto it works for a little more, totally random?, when doors are open door green warning light flickers and it starts all over again, have tried lowering freezer temp to -19 from -18 and this also can bring things back to normal for a while?…my model numbers are s20b rbb20-a/g
8586 152 15001 / 11 0412 000239 / sb540w? have read most threads on the matter , picked up that I have either an older model,need 2 boards? or a recent model ,only 1 board? also that problem may possibly be sorted with some small bits and soldering ?any update on this problem? and as i do not want to do it myself, who would do this for me for a price of course, not whirlpool prices and do you get a guarantee? what if that is not the problem etc after work done??????????
