Thanks Andy. If it is the element why would it trip out on the cold wash though? Only I read that a cold wash would not trip a fuse if the element had gone – washing-machine-forum/bosch-washing-machine-tripping-fuse-box-t79892.html

Also we have another old Bosch which died from PCB failure a few months ago. Just wondering if we would be able to cannibalise the element out of that one? – its a Bosch Classix 1400 Express. Many Thanks.
