Ok – have been offered a brand new board for £70. The shop will not gurantee it unless fitted by engineer. Would like to fit it myself but again if the motor is suspect it may blow the board. What is you recommendation?

Okay so the prime suspect is the motor.
How can I test to confirm that it is the motor?
What do i look for?
I have a digital avo meter.

Hi Dave
Put a new relay in and still it does not work.
Tried the link and contacted the shop – they may have sold the board.
If i did get a new board – would it blow again – is there anything else that could cause the relay to overheat and damage the board?
Regards

Hi Dave
I think you are right – i fixed a couple of tracks and installed the board with out the relay and managed to get some of the lights to work.
Pressing the buttons switches the LED’s on and off.
The spin speed LED’s are not lit and the start/stop button does not work.
Will buy a new relay and install it tomorrow.

Apologies Martin you are right, found the diagram. I need the module that sits on the metal plate above the the tub part 00285737 costs £324.10
Dave – The Enr number is WFS4030GB/07 the machine shows no lights, i traced the power from the mains lead, through the program selector switch to the board. Took the board out and there was signs of overheating underneath the relay. One of the connection to the coil was burnt and melted.Naresh
